In-home design consultation to assess layout, lighting, and traffic flow
Personalized cabinetry design and space planning from experienced designers, not a sales counter.
We sit down with you first, so every design decision fits your space and your life.
Wickford Kitchen & Bath was built around one idea: kitchen and bath design should come from people who understand both the craft and the client. Our designers work across North Kingstown, Saunderstown, and the surrounding coastal communities, and they know the difference between a farmhouse kitchen in a Wickford village home and a coastal-modern bath in a Narragansett renovation.
Every project starts with real space planning, not a generic layout pulled from a catalog. We measure, we ask questions, and we look at how you actually cook, store, and live before recommending cabinetry, countertops, or storage solutions. We also walk through your habits and goals together, so the final design reflects how you truly use the space.
This is the part that separates a kitchen and bath design showroom from a box store aisle. You get an actual conversation with someone trained in cabinetry design, not a clerk pointing you toward whatever is in stock.

A cabinet design consultation with our team goes well beyond picking a door style. We look at your whole kitchen or bathroom as one connected system, from cabinet boxes to countertops to hardware.
Design consultation is what separates Wickford Kitchen & Bath from big-box retailers, and that starts with the people behind it. Our designers bring years of hands-on experience in space planning, cabinetry design, and materials selection to every project, guiding clients rather than simply processing an order.

Most projects begin with a conversation, either in our kitchen design showroom or in your home. Our designers listen first: what’s frustrating about your current kitchen or bath, what you want to keep, and what needs to go.
From there, we move into space planning and cabinetry design, working through door styles, finishes, and countertop selection together. Because our showroom carries everything from semi-custom cabinetry to full custom cabinetry, we can scale the design to your project’s scope and budget without pushing you toward a single product line.
Once the design is set, we coordinate cabinet sales, ordering, and installation timing so there are no surprises. You’ll know what’s arriving, when, and how it all comes together before any work begins.
Choosing the right kitchen and bath designers matters as much as choosing the right cabinets. Here’s what clients across North Kingstown and South County can expect from working with us.

A few things clients often ask before their first design consultation.
What happens during a first design consultation?
Do I need to visit the showroom, or can you come to my home?
Can your designers work with semi-custom or production line cabinetry if I'm on a tighter budget?
How is a cabinet design consultation different from just picking cabinets off a floor plan?
If you’re planning a kitchen or bathroom remodel anywhere from Wickford to Narragansett, talk with our kitchen and bath designers before you commit to a single cabinet. A short consultation now can save you from costly layout mistakes later.
